Vista Lending Recognized as Top Mortgage Company in Austin
Vista Lending, a division of Network Funding, has been named a Top Mortgage Company by the Austin Business Journal. Several of its loan officers were also recognized as top producers in the region.
Austin-based Vista Lending, a division of Network Funding, has received recognition from the Austin Business Journal. The company ranked as the 11th top mortgage company, based on its 2025 production volume and closed loans.
In addition, two Vista Lending loan officers, Russell Laing and Sonya Valia, were named to the journal's list of top producers in the region. Laing ranked fourth, and Valia ranked 51st. This marks the ninth consecutive year Laing and Valia have been recognized by the Austin Business Journal.
The rankings are based on 2025 production volume and closed loans. Vista Lending closed a total of 197 loans with a production volume of nearly $98.8 million. Russell Laing's individual production was $81.2 million with 155 closed loans, while Sonya Valia generated $17.5 million and 42 loans.
The Austin Business Journal's ranking tracks residential mortgage loan production by local offices during 2025. The calculation included only retail home loans and refinancing loans originated and closed by the Austin office. Wholesale, repurchase, cash-out, second liens, and construction loans were excluded from the calculation.
