Vistara renews technology and distribution agreement with Amadeus
Indian airline Vistara has extended its partnership with Amadeus IT Group to continue utilizing the company's operational software and global distribution network.

Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has renewed its contract with Amadeus IT Group to support its long-term growth strategy. The agreement ensures the carrier continues to use the Altéa suite, which handles essential functions such as passenger reservations, inventory management, and departure control.
Beyond internal operations, the agreement strengthens Vistara’s distribution reach. Travel sellers connected to the Amadeus platform will maintain access to the airline’s full range of fares and inventory, facilitating bookings across international markets. This is particularly relevant as Vistara seeks to expand its footprint beyond its home market in India.
Amadeus noted that the collaboration focuses on providing the carrier with the agility required to adapt to the digital transformation of the airline industry. With plans to scale its operations through 2023, Vistara has been investing heavily in its fleet and infrastructure to increase its market share.
