VisualLogix has acquired the European refyne group, expanding its engineering software portfolio and strengthening its presence in the DACH region.

Technology firm VisualLogix announced its acquisition of the European refyne group, broadening its global engineering software platform and enhancing its product offerings. The deal aims to bolster VisualLogix's European footprint.
The acquisition integrates refyne's software suite, including Athena, Apollon, TrunCAD, nCAD, flixo, and Triviso, into VisualLogix's existing portfolio. These solutions cater to the wood, metal, and facade manufacturing sectors, providing integrated CAD, CAM, thermal analysis, and ERP capabilities. This expansion is particularly focused on the DACH region.
VisualLogix CEO Brett Zane stated that the shared philosophy of innovation and deep industry expertise between the two companies makes this a strategic fit. He indicated plans to invest in artificial intelligence to improve workflows for engineers and manufacturers using their combined software.
