Technology firm VisualLogix has acquired refyne Group, an expansion that will significantly broaden its global engineering software platform and enhance its market presence in Europe, particularly in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
VisualLogix develops software solutions that facilitate the design, analysis, and manufacturing of real-world products and systems. Its current product portfolio includes offerings like AutoSPRINK and Metal Building Software, widely used by fire protection engineers and manufacturers in North America and internationally.
The acquisition of refyne Group's solutions, such as Athena, Apollon, and TrunCAD, complements VisualLogix's existing offerings, especially catering to the wood and metal manufacturing industries. These software packages provide integrated CAD, CAM, thermal analysis, and ERP solutions that cover the entire production workflow.
VisualLogix CEO Brett Zane highlighted the shared philosophy between the two companies regarding innovation, deep industry expertise, and customer commitment.
