Vivo introduces X500 Pro Max smartphone model
Vivo has launched the X500 Pro Max, a new flagship device positioned between the company's existing Pro and Ultra product tiers.

The X500 Pro Max represents a strategic expansion of Vivo's smartphone portfolio. While it incorporates high-end hardware, including a 7,800mAh battery and a 1440p, 144Hz display, the device differentiates itself by occupying a mid-point position in the company's current lineup.
Technical specifications for the device include a main camera sensor boasting 17 stops of dynamic range and a telephoto lens shared with the flagship Ultra series. However, the model omits specific imaging features found in the Ultra, such as the 35mm focal length and the specific ultrawide sensor configurations that have defined the higher-tier product line.
Market analysts note that the introduction of a 'Pro Max' tier aims to capture a specific segment of the premium phone market that sits below the Ultra's price point. The move reflects a broader trend among hardware manufacturers to segment flagship offerings to address varying consumer requirements for imaging and display capabilities.
