Chinese technology company Vivo has officially launched its latest flagship foldable smartphone, the X Fold6, on the global market. The device aims to enhance mobile productivity for professionals on the move, combining a slim design with improved imaging and battery performance.
The X Fold6 runs on the new OriginOS 7 Fold, which features the Origin Smooth Engine for responsive multitasking. Key productivity tools include Multi-Task Workbench, offering flexible arrangements of main and auxiliary windows, and Multi-Split Screen, allowing up to four apps to be viewed and resized simultaneously. AI Cross-App Drag facilitates content transfer between applications.
Integrated AI functionalities are designed to streamline workflows. The AI Meeting Assistant provides meeting recording, transcription, summarization, and real-time captions for online calls. AI File Manager assists with organizing and finding files through features like smart naming and AI summaries, while AI Reader Mode reformats PDFs for easier reading.
The device is powered by a 6900 mAh BlueVolt Battery with support for 80W wired and 40W wireless charging, along with reverse wireless charging. Additionally, Vivo's Desktop Mode transforms the X Fold6 into a desktop-like interface when connected to an external display, enabling more flexible management of documents and communications.
