Chinese technology firm vivo has officially launched its new Y600i smartphone, set to go on sale on September 30. The handset is distinguished by its substantial 8000mAh battery capacity and the inclusion of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile platform.
The Y600i is priced starting at 1699 yuan (approximately $230 USD) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. A higher-tier version with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for 1999 yuan (approximately $270 USD).
The device supports 44W fast charging. In terms of imaging, the Y600i is equipped with a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Additional features include a 6.87-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, IP68/69 dust and water resistance rating, and a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor. vivo is a significant player in the global smartphone market, and the Y-series typically targets the mid-range and budget segments, often emphasizing battery life and essential functionalities.
