Chinese tech company vivo is gearing up to launch its new S2 smartphone model in India. The manufacturer has added details about the device to its Indian website, indicating that the release is imminent.
The design of the S2 model resembles the vivo X300 FE, particularly its horizontal rear camera system. The camera module houses two lenses, and unlike higher-tier models, this device does not carry Zeiss certification.
The upcoming vivo S2 is anticipated to be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The phone is reported to come with 8GB of RAM and offer storage options up to 256GB. The user experience is rounded out by a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Battery capacity is listed at 7000mAh, supporting 80W wired fast charging. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera, and a 32-megapixel front camera. The device will run on the OriginOS operating system.
