Vivo Y6t Smartphone Adds "m Version" With MediaTek Processor
Chinese technology company Vivo has introduced a new variant of its Y6t smartphone, dubbed the "m version". This update replaces the previous Snapdragon processor with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
Chinese technology firm Vivo has launched a new iteration of its Y6t smartphone, designated as the "m version". The primary change in this variant is the adoption of the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 system-on-chip, replacing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor found in the earlier model.
The core specifications of the Y6t "m version" remain largely consistent. It features a 6.74-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1600x720 pixels. The rear of the device houses a 13-megapixel main camera. Powering the phone is a substantial 6500mAh battery, advertised for its long-term durability.
Additionally, the smartphone offers IP65 dust and water resistance and incorporates an infrared remote control function. It comes with the OriginOS 6 operating system pre-installed. The Y6t "m version" is available in three color options:霞光蓝 (a shimmering blue), 流云白 (flowing cloud white), and 暮夜黑 (night black).
Pricing starts at 1019 yuan (approximately $140 USD) for the variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A configuration with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at 1399 yuan (approximately $192 USD). Government subsidies are also available, which further reduce the cost for eligible consumers.
