Vizio discounts Mini LED television line at Walmart
Vizio has reduced prices on its Mini LED Quantum television models at Walmart, offering a configuration that allows users to bypass integrated smart TV software.
Vizio is currently offering discounted pricing on its Mini LED Quantum television line at Walmart retail locations. The 65-inch model is priced at $358, while the 85-inch model is available for $698.
While the televisions come equipped with Vizio’s proprietary operating system, the setup process allows users to opt out of the manufacturer's software and data collection services. This configuration permits the use of third-party streaming hardware, such as Roku or Apple TV, directly through the unit's HDMI ports.
The hardware features quantum dots and high brightness levels, though testing indicates the IPS panel delivers limited black levels and potential motion blur in fast-paced content. With three HDMI 2.0 ports and a 60Hz refresh rate limit, the units are positioned as entry-level options rather than high-end gaming displays.
