Singapore-headquartered Wiz.AI, a startup specializing in voice AI, achieved a net profit of US$3.9 million in 2025. This marks a significant turnaround from a net loss of US$13.4 million in 2024. The company's revenue nearly doubled year-on-year, reaching US$23.5 million.

Under the leadership of CEO Jianfeng Lu, who took the helm at the start of 2025, Wiz.AI shifted its strategy. "In 2024, we lost focus, pursuing too many projects at once," Lu told Tech in Asia. The company prioritized projects offering clear strategic and economic value, focusing on securing renewed contracts rather than one-off deals.

Wiz.AI serves major clients across Southeast Asia, including GCash in the Philippines, and Telkomsel and Bank BRI in Indonesia. Its customer base spans the financial services, banking, telecommunications, and e-commerce sectors. The company's voice agents support 16 languages, including hybrid variations like Taglish and Singlish.

Research and development expenses constituted a significant portion of the company's costs in 2025, amounting to US$15.3 million, or one-third of total expenses. Wiz.AI is currently expanding into South America, with plans to establish operations in Brazil and Mexico. Funding for this expansion is being secured through a Series B round announced in November 2025.
