Volkswagen Anhui Launches Updated 08 SUV

Volkswagen Anhui has released its updated 08 SUV model line-up today, offering three distinct variants. The vehicles are available at a limited-time introductory price starting from 189,900 Chinese yuan (approximately $26,000 USD).

The new SUV is equipped with batteries from CATL and an 800-volt fast-charging system, enabling a charge from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes. The driving range for these models varies between 630 km and 730 km, according to CLTC standards.

The base model, the Pure version, features an 82 kWh battery and a 630 km range, with its introductory price set at 189,900 yuan. The Ultra Plus version offers a 95 kWh battery, a 730 km range, and is priced at 219,900 yuan. The top-tier Max Plus model, also with a 95 kWh battery and a 700 km range, is priced at 249,900 yuan.

All new 08 SUV models come standard with advanced technology, including dual Turing chips with 1500 TOPS of computing power, Brembo brake calipers, and the 800V fast-charging capability. The vehicles measure 5 meters in length with a wheelbase exceeding 3 meters.
