Volkswagen EV Prototype Sets New Efficiency Records
Volkswagen has unveiled its Mission Efficiency prototype, achieving new records in aerodynamic efficiency and energy consumption for electric vehicles.
Volkswagen has revealed its new Mission Efficiency electric vehicle prototype, engineered to break efficiency records. The vehicle, built on the MEB+ platform, claims to be the world's most aerodynamic road-approved car with a drag coefficient of just 0.158.
The prototype has also set a new record for energy consumption, using 6.48 kWh per 100 kilometers during a test drive at a constant speed of 68 km/h. These figures highlight Volkswagen's focus on enhancing electric vehicle performance and competitiveness.
The Mission Efficiency incorporates front-wheel-drive components from upcoming ID. Polo and ID. Cross models. This 2+2 seat electric coupe prototype showcases Volkswagen's vision for future electric car development and efficiency.
