Volvo Car Canada Reports Sales Decline in Third Quarter
Volvo Car Canada announced its third quarter 2026 sales results, showing a 13.2 percent decrease compared to Q3 2025. Sales of electrified vehicles also saw a significant drop.

Volvo Car Canada reported a decrease in sales for the third quarter of 2026, selling 3,645 vehicles. This represents a 13.2 percent decline compared to the same period in 2025.
The company's sales of electrified vehicles, which include fully electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains, also experienced a substantial decrease. In Q3 2026, 1,067 electrified vehicles were sold, down 28.6 percent year-over-year. These models constituted 29 percent of total sales.
The XC60 mid-size luxury SUV and the XC90 full-size luxury SUV remained the top sellers for the quarter. The XC60 sold 1,269 units, while the XC90 sold 1,020 units. Year-to-date, the XC90 has shown growth in sales.
