Volvo Car Charleston Launches Factory Fridays for Future Talent
Volvo Cars is hosting "Factory Fridays" in October, inviting high school seniors from the Charleston area to experience advanced manufacturing firsthand at its Ridgeville plant.

Volvo Cars' U.S. manufacturing operations in Ridgeville, South Carolina, will launch "Factory Fridays" this October. The initiative aims to introduce graduating high school seniors from the Charleston area to advanced manufacturing processes.
During the events, students will tour the plant, engage in technical skill-testing activities, and meet with members of the Volvo team responsible for vehicle assembly. The program is held in recognition of National Manufacturing Month.
This initiative seeks to inspire the next generation of talent by providing direct exposure to the automotive manufacturing environment. Volvo Cars aims to highlight career opportunities within the industry and the technologies used in its modern production facility.
