Volvo Cars has commenced customer deliveries of its new, fully electric EX60 SUV in Europe this week. The initial recipients of the EX60 are in Sweden, with more deliveries expected to follow in the coming weeks and months.

The EX60, unveiled in January, is positioned as a significant model for Volvo Cars' electrification strategy. The company states the vehicle offers a range of up to 503 miles (approximately 810 km) on a single charge and can charge from 10 to 80 percent in 16 minutes. According to Volvo Cars, the pricing for the EX60 aligns with that of its best-selling XC60 plug-in hybrid.

The five-seater EX60 is designed to address range anxiety concerns. Volvo Cars reports that the model provides an enhanced user experience, with a focus on sustainable design principles.
