VOTIX and Dronetag Partner to Enhance Airspace Safety for U.S. Drone Operators

VOTIX, a drone operations platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Dronetag, a provider of Remote ID drone detection and compliance technology. This collaboration integrates real-time drone detection and Remote ID compliance directly into the VOTIX platform, aiming to bolster airspace safety for U.S. drone operators.

The partnership aims to provide public safety agencies and commercial drone operators with a single, trusted system for mission planning, airspace awareness, and compliance demonstration. The integration supports the FAA's Part 108 for Beyond Visual Line of Sight operations and Part 146 for Automated Data Service Provider certification, both of which emphasize reliable, real-time airspace awareness.

"Our customers carry a serious responsibility every time they put a drone in the air," said Edwin Sanchez, CEO and Founder of VOTIX. "This partnership gives them a dependable way to see what is happening in their airspace and to stand behind their compliance record with confidence. Dronetag has earned real trust across law enforcement, public safety, and critical infrastructure communities." Dronetag's technology includes hardware for real-time drone and pilot detection and Remote ID transmitter modules. Their solutions are used by over 350 public safety agencies globally, and the company's founders were involved in developing the technical foundation of the Remote ID protocol.

The integration feeds live Remote ID and drone detection data directly into the VOTIX operational dashboard, offering operators a unified view of mission planning, execution, and compliance documentation. Dronetag Scout receivers detect Remote ID broadcasts from drones up to 15 miles away, transmitting the aircraft's position and the operator's ground location. This solution reduces the need for operators to manage multiple disconnected tools. The integration began rolling out to VOTIX customers worldwide starting September 24, 2026.
