San Francisco, CA – Vouch Insurance, an insurance broker serving technology companies, has appointed Brandon Kaufman as its new Head of Claims. Kaufman will serve as an advocate for Vouch's clients with insurance carriers, guiding them through the entire claims lifecycle from first notice to resolution.
The appointment follows a series of leadership expansions at Vouch. Kaufman's responsibilities will include developing tailored action plans for complex, high-exposure claims, utilizing data and analytics to shape claims strategy, and acting as a liaison between clients, carriers, and third-party administrators.
Kaufman joins Vouch from EPIC, where he served as Vice President of Claims, advising clients on resolving complex claims and reducing loss ratios. He also has prior experience as in-house counsel for technology startups and as a consultant on insurance program design.
Vouch emphasizes that claims handling is a core part of the client experience, not a back-office function. The company aims to provide clients with a dedicated claims advocate who serves as a single point of contact, builds strategies around client priorities, and offers regular updates throughout the resolution process.
