Voyager Technologies, a company specializing in space technology, has successfully listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in June 2025. The offering raised approximately $440 million and was oversubscribed more than 20 times. J.P. Morgan acted as the company's financial advisor and supporter throughout its growth.
Founded in 2019, Voyager Technologies aims to build space infrastructure and technology for both space exploration and national defense. The company has developed systems for navigation, communication, and propulsion for spacecraft, with a notable project being the Starlab commercial space station.
J.P. Morgan's involvement with Voyager began early in 2021 when the bank provided a venture debt facility. This was followed by J.P. Morgan leading a Series B equity raise in 2022. Sector specialists from J.P. Morgan's aerospace, defense, and technology banking teams provided support and industry insights.
At the time of its listing, Voyager Technologies employs over 1,200 individuals and has a market capitalization of $2 billion. The company has conducted more than 1,400 missions on the International Space Station (ISS) through its commercial airlock.
Voyager CEO Dylan Taylor highlighted J.P. Morgan's crucial role in the company's expansion, describing the bank as "instrumental at all phases of our growth" and crediting them with helping shape the company's investor narrative for the IPO.
