Voyah, a Chinese automotive manufacturer, has submitted its official filing for the upcoming Dreamer 9 MPV to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The filing confirms that the luxury MPV will be available in both fully electric and plug-in hybrid configurations, signaling the company's expansion in the premium new energy vehicle market.

The Dreamer 9 is positioned as a flagship MPV, aiming to compete in the approximately 500,000 yuan (around $70,000 USD) price bracket. Voyah aims to challenge the prevailing dominance of SUVs in this luxury segment by offering a spacious and technologically advanced MPV.

Dimensions for the Dreamer 9 include a length of 5325 mm, a width of 1998 mm, and a height of either 1823 mm or 1805 mm, with a wheelbase of 3200 mm. The vehicle is designed to accommodate seven passengers. The fully electric version will feature electric motors with peak power outputs of 175 kW and 300 kW, while the plug-in hybrid variant pairs a 1.5-liter engine (110 kW) with electric motors rated at 150 kW and 300 kW. Both models support external charging.

Safety features include an anti-lock braking system (ABS) from Bosch. The filing also details various optional customization options for the exterior, allowing buyers to personalize their vehicles. This announcement follows Voyah's existing presence in the premium MPV market with its earlier Dreamer model.
