Voyah, a Chinese automotive manufacturer, has officially launched its Taishan X8 EV model in the domestic market. This new electric vehicle is equipped with Huawei's advanced autonomous driving technology, including a new four-LiDAR sensor array integrated into the exterior.

The Taishan X8 EV is offered in two trims: Ultra and Ultra+. The starting price for the base model is 339,900 yuan (approximately $47,000 USD). The vehicle was initially revealed in May 2024, with pricing then ranging from 292,900 to 379,900 yuan.

The SUV's exterior design follows Voyah's "Kunpeng Spread Wings" language, featuring a closed front grille and a continuous taillight bar. Inside, the cabin boasts dual 15.6-inch screens and a spacious interior. A notable feature is the "dual-enjoyment sunken foldable zero-gravity seats," which can be configured for captain's seating, luxury four-seater, or spacious five-seater arrangements. The vehicle also introduces an automatic bed transformation function.

The cargo area includes a 110-liter sunken storage compartment, claimed to be the largest in its class. The Taishan X8 EV is available in six exterior color options and comes with a warranty of six years or 150,000 kilometers.
