VRM to Provide Publishing Services for Gelnhäuser Neue Zeitung
VRM became the service partner for Gelnhäuser Neue Zeitung (GNZ) on September 1, 2026, handling key publishing services and regional news. The newspaper will also adopt a larger print format.
Mainz-based VRM, formerly Verlagsgruppe Rhein Main, began acting as the service partner for Gelnhäuser Neue Zeitung (GNZ) on September 1, 2026. GNZ is part of the EGRO Mediengruppe.
The collaboration involves VRM taking over several core publishing services for GNZ. Additionally, GNZ will receive its overregional news content from VRM starting in September. The print edition of Gelnhäuser Neue Zeitung will be produced by VRM Druck in Rüsselsheim and will transition to the larger Rheinische newspaper format. GNZ reports an approximate circulation of 8,000 copies in the central Main-Kinzig district, positioning it as the region's most read daily newspaper.
This partnership aims to allow GNZ to leverage VRM's structures and services for its central publishing processes. For VRM, the agreement expands its portfolio of publishing services.
