VT Markets Launches Global Trading Competition with $200,000 Prize Pool
Multi-asset broker VT Markets has announced the VT Markets Gold Cup 2026, a worldwide trading competition. The event features a total prize pool of up to $200,000 and a final event in Iceland.

Scheduled for Autumn 2026, the VT Markets Gold Cup 2026 will bring together traders globally for a competition with significant prize money. VT Markets, a global multi-asset broker, announced the launch of the event, which culminates in a final in Iceland. The competition begins with a regional series in August and will run through the autumn.
Boasting one of the largest prize pools among online trading competitions this year, the event offers up to USD 200,000 in total prize money. Participants will compete in regional rankings updated hourly, with placings based on the percentage increase of total profit, emphasizing account growth from trading strategy rather than initial capital. Top performers in each regional series will receive cash prizes and an invitation to the Iceland finals.
To enter the competition, traders must open a live trading account, complete KYC verification, and register through the client portal. The first 100 participants per region will also receive a USD 10 trading credit. A net deposit of at least USD 1,000 must be maintained throughout the campaign. Any withdrawals or internal transfers will result in immediate disqualification. Additionally, a cumulative trading volume of at least 10 lots is required for ranking, and positions must be held for a minimum of 5 minutes.
VT Markets operates as a regulated multi-asset broker in over 160 countries. The company has received numerous international accolades and aims to make trading accessible by providing access to more than 1,000 financial instruments.
