VV-Auto Group Oy to become K Auto Oy
VV-Auto Group Oy, the market leader in Finnish car trade and part of K Group, will change its name to K Auto Oy. The name change takes effect June 1, 2018, integrating the car trade more clearly under the K brand.

VV-Auto Group Oy, the leading car trade company in Finland and part of K Group, is changing its name to K Auto Oy. Its subsidiary, VV-Autotalot Oy, will become K Caara Oy. These changes, effective June 1, 2018, aim to align the group's car trade operations more closely with the established K brand.
Johan Friman, President of Kesko's car trade division, stated that the name change and rebranding under the K umbrella are a strategic move. "Car trade is one of Kesko’s three strategic divisions. It is increasingly important to identify new business opportunities across division lines," Friman explained. The import and retailing of Porsche will continue under the existing name of its subsidiary, Oy AutoCarrera Ab.
VV-Auto has been the largest car importer in Finland for many years, with a history dating back to 1950. Kesko acquired the operations in 1977. The company's extensive dealer and service network, as well as its service offerings, will remain unchanged by this rebranding.
K Auto Oy will manage the import and marketing of Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, and Porsche passenger cars, as well as Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in Finland. The company also imports MAN trucks and MAN and Neoplan buses into Finland. K Auto Oy is also a significant vehicle retailer and provides after-sales service at its own locations in the greater Helsinki area and Turku.
