Wacom announced today the integration of Wacom Yuify, its digital service for securing and verifying ownership of digital artworks, into the popular ibisPaint application. This feature is designed for mobile creative workflows, enabling artists to protect the copyright of their digital sketches directly while creating.
The integration allows ibisPaint users to register their digital works, establishing a digital record of authenticity and ownership. Each registered artwork is linked to the artist's Pixiv account and Wacom ID, which can serve as evidence in copyright disputes or licensing scenarios.
Wacom developed Yuify in response to the growing need for digital artists to protect their creations from unauthorized use and plagiarism online. The collaboration with ibisPaint extends this protection to its large user base of mobile artists.
