Wakefit Q1 Profit Rises 19% to ₹23.4 Cr, Revenue Exceeds ₹400 Cr
Home goods company Wakefit reported a 19% year-over-year increase in net profit for the first quarter, reaching ₹23.4 crore. The company's revenue also surpassed ₹400 crore during the period.

Home goods manufacturer Wakefit announced its net profit for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27) rose 19% to ₹23.4 crore, up from ₹19.6 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's operating revenue for the quarter increased 17% year-over-year to ₹404.9 crore.
During the quarter, mattresses accounted for 66% of the total revenue, while furniture and furnishings contributed the remaining 34%. Total income reached ₹420.5 crore, which included other income of ₹15.6 crore. Total expenses for the period saw a 14% increase year-over-year, amounting to ₹384.2 crore.
The company's operating EBITDA grew 50% year-over-year to ₹36.8 crore, with its margin improving to 9.1% from 7.1% in the prior-year quarter. Wakefit's retail channel expanded by 21% year-over-year, and the company added 27 new stores, bringing its total number of company-owned and operated stores to 165.
Wakefit plans to continue its retail expansion throughout fiscal year 2027, aiming to add approximately 80 more stores. The company has allocated around ₹100-120 crore for capital expenditures in FY27, with the majority focused on retail expansion and the remainder on manufacturing automation.
