IT Home reported on October 18 that Wang Ziru, founder of the review company ZEALER, has expressed a willingness to resolve his long-standing dispute with Luo Yonghao. Wang Ziru made these remarks at a technology forum in Beijing.

The conflict between Wang Ziru and Luo Yonghao originated in 2014 following a review of a smartphone. ZEALER published a video review pointing out issues with the Smartisan T1 phone, including screen fragility and production defects. Luo Yonghao, founder of Smartisan, contested these findings and challenged Wang Ziru to a live televised debate.

During the debate, Luo Yonghao systematically refuted Wang Ziru's claims, leaving Wang Ziru in a defensive position. The event garnered significant attention within China's tech community.

Following the debate, Wang Ziru and ZEALER issued a public apology in September 2014. The apology acknowledged technical and linguistic errors in the review video and admitted that the visual material might have been misleading. The apology was also extended to supporters and ZEALER team members.

Wang Ziru suggested that he is no longer seeking conflict for publicity and wishes to end the old feud. He stated he might be at a crossroads and sent a message to Luo Yonghao indicating he no longer wishes to argue but to reconcile.
