WaterTectonics Acquires Cooling Tower Treatment Patents
WaterTectonics has acquired the patents and intellectual property of Dynamic Water Technologies. The company will become the exclusive provider of the proprietary electrochemical treatment for industrial and commercial cooling tower applications.

WaterTectonics has acquired the patents and intellectual property rights from Dynamic Water Technologies, establishing itself as the exclusive provider of the company's proprietary electrochemical treatment technology for industrial and commercial cooling tower applications.
The Everett, Washington-based company announced the acquisition on September 9, 2026. The deal allows WaterTectonics to offer new water treatment solutions for cooling towers, potentially improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
The acquired DSR (Dynamic Scale Reduction) technology is designed to minimize mineral scaling and microbial growth in cooling systems. This is expected to extend equipment lifespan and decrease water consumption.
WaterTectonics is expected to integrate this technology into its existing product offerings and market it to new clients. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
