WavLink Releases 13-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 Docking Station NexaDockM
WavLink has launched its new 13-in-1 NexaDockM Thunderbolt 5 docking station. The device features a built-in M.2 slot and active cooling.
Chinese technology company WavLink has released its new NexaDockM docking station, offering 13 ports through Thunderbolt 5 technology. The product is now available for purchase at a price of 1999 yuan (approximately $275 USD).
The new docking station is built around Intel's JHL9480 chip and supports 140W USB Power Delivery. It includes one Thunderbolt 5 upstream port capable of delivering up to 140W of power to a connected computer. Additionally, there are three Thunderbolt 5 downstream ports, offering 30W, 15W, and 15W power delivery respectively.
The NexaDockM provides a comprehensive set of connectivity options, including four USB-A 10Gbps ports, SD and microSD UHS-II card readers, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The unit also features a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port.
A notable feature of the docking station is its integrated M.2 slot, which supports PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe SSDs. This allows for quick expansion of additional storage. The device also includes an active cooling fan to ensure stable operation during demanding tasks. The WavLink NexaDockM is targeted at professionals and power users requiring extensive connectivity and high performance.
