Website Allows Users to Design Their Own iPhone Models

Game designer Neal Agarwal has created a website that allows users to design their own versions of an iPhone. Dubbed "Design the Next iPhone," the site provides tools for adding features, ranging from the practical to the highly imaginative.

The platform features a 3D rendering of an iPhone that users can rotate and modify using drag-and-drop functionality. Users can incorporate familiar elements like dual or Pro cameras, volume buttons, or the Apple logo, with the ability to place them anywhere and in any quantity. Options also exist to add hinges, altering the phone's form factor.

More unconventional additions include Android or pear logos, an old-school iPod click wheel, an antenna, a rotary dial, googly eyes, a joystick, a handle, a "Pro Wheel," a steering wheel, and a helicopter blade. Users can also change the phone's color and assign a custom name.

Upon completion, the site displays the "prototype's" cost based on the added features, mirroring Apple's pricing structure. A final image shows former CEO Tim Cook praising the design. Users have shared their creations on social media, showcasing models resembling a "moon or Mars rover," a drone, or a Game Boy Advance.
