Webull Expands in Thailand Following Pi Securities Acquisition
Webull has completed its acquisition of shares in Pi Securities in Thailand, marking the next phase of its growth strategy in Southeast Asia. The company aims to manage 200 billion Thai Baht in assets.
Webull Corporation, the owner of the Webull online trading platform, has finalized the acquisition of shares in Pi Securities Public Company Limited through its subsidiary, Webull Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
The transaction grants Webull the opportunity to expand its services within the Thai market, targeting the management of 200 billion Thai Baht (approximately 5.5 billion USD) in assets under management.
Pi Securities is one of Thailand's oldest securities firms, and its acquisition provides Webull with a significant foothold in the local financial market. This move is part of Webull's broader global expansion strategy aimed at entering new international markets.
The company is expected to leverage Pi Securities' local expertise and established customer base to enhance its operations in Thailand, intending to offer its digital trading services to local investors.
