WeChat Keyboard Adds Voice-to-Text Editing Feature
WeChat Keyboard has released a new feature that converts speech to text and offers editing capabilities. The functionality is now available on both mobile and PC versions.
IT Home reported on October 2 that WeChat Keyboard has implemented a new feature designed to convert voice messages into text and provide editing options for the transcribed content. This enhancement is now available across both mobile devices and PC platforms, including Mac and Windows.
The new "voice-to-text editing" functionality is accessible via an icon located in the top-left corner of the keyboard interface. After users utilize the speech-to-text conversion, an "edit text" option will appear. This feature aims to assist users in more efficiently managing and refining content transcribed from their speech.
In addition to the transcription tool, WeChat Keyboard has also enhanced its "air transfer" feature. This function allows for the rapid transfer of files and photos between devices. Users can now send data conveniently, provided that the WeChat Keyboard is installed and connected on both devices.
The keyboard also includes an automatic emoji search function. As users type, a smiley icon appears, enabling quick searches for and insertion of relevant emojis into conversations.
