WeChat Pay has expanded its AI AgentPay Card functionality to include support for DeepSeek Harness and OpenClaw, adding two new agent platforms to the payment service's ecosystem.
This integration allows users to authorize an agent to recommend a paid service, place an order, and initiate payment directly within the same conversation. The feature aims to streamline the purchasing process.
The AgentPay Card can currently be used for over 700 payment-related skills on Tencent's SkillHub. Transactions are kept separate from the user's main WeChat Pay account, and each payment still requires final confirmation on the user's phone for security purposes.
