WeChat PC: New Version Allows Incoming Calls During Active Conversations
WeChat's PC version has released test update 4.1.12, introducing improvements to its calling, multimedia display, and note-taking features. Users can now answer new calls while already on a call.

WeChat, the popular Chinese messaging application, has released version 4.1.12 of its PC client to beta testers. This update brings several enhancements to the application's calling capabilities, multimedia handling, and note-taking tools.
A key feature in this release is the ability to accept new incoming calls during an ongoing video or voice call. Previously, the PC version did not support handling additional calls while one was active. This change allows users to seamlessly take new calls without interrupting their current conversation.
The update also improves the display of combined images and videos sent from mobile devices. These multimedia items are now presented more cohesively within the chat window. Additionally, the release addresses and fixes several known issues within the application.
Furthermore, the beta version introduces support for Markdown formatting within the notes feature. Users can now utilize Markdown syntax for structuring notes with headings, bold, italics, lists, and quotes. This feature is currently in beta testing and may be subject to changes before its official release.
