WeChat tests shortcut for viewing all unread chats
WeChat is testing a new shortcut allowing users to view all unread conversations. The feature is currently rolling out to a limited group of users.

WeChat, the popular Chinese messaging app, is testing a new feature designed to streamline message management. Users will soon be able to view all unread chats by long-pressing the WeChat icon located in the lower-left corner of the app's home screen.
This shortcut is currently being rolled out to a select group of users, suggesting a phased introduction. The aim is to provide a quicker way for users to catch up on missed messages.
In addition to the unread chat shortcut, WeChat is also highlighting a reminder for outstanding payments. Prompts for unpaid "red envelopes" or transfers will now appear in the upper-right corner of a chat. Tapping these prompts will take users directly to the relevant message, facilitating prompt action.
These updates indicate WeChat's ongoing efforts to enhance user experience and simplify the management of communications and financial transactions within the application.
