Weixin Input Method 1.0 for HarmonyOS has been released on the official website, introducing features like text organization and cross-device image copy-pasting.

China-based IT Home has released version 1.0 of its Weixin Input Method for the HarmonyOS operating system. The new version, available on the company's official website, brings several enhancements aimed at improving user productivity and convenience.
Key additions include a "Text Organization" feature designed to help users make their communication more concise and clear. An AI-powered "Ask AI" function has also been integrated, providing intelligent answers to user queries. Additionally, users can transform text into stylized images with "Layout to Image" and refine or expand content through "Dynamic Expression" tools.
A significant new capability is the support for "Cross-device Copy and Paste Images," enabling seamless image transfer between different HarmonyOS devices. This feature is expected to streamline workflows for users operating multiple devices concurrently.
Other introduced features include a "Floating Keyboard" for easier one-handed use, quicker access to mini-programs and media content, and improved support for external keyboards to enhance typing efficiency.
The initial HarmonyOS version of the Weixin Input Method, 0.9.0, was launched in the Huawei AppGallery in October 2024, offering only basic typing functionalities at the time.
