WeRide begins international road tests for L2++ autonomous driving systems

Chinese autonomous driving technology firm WeRide has commenced international road testing and adaptation verification for its L2++ intelligent assisted driving solutions. The company has launched these trials in Germany, France, and Japan, seeking to accumulate global scenario experience and systematically build its engineering validation capabilities for worldwide markets.

WeRide's proprietary one-stage, end-to-end intelligent assisted driving algorithm, integrated with Bosch's automotive-grade domain control platform, is undergoing validation abroad. This advanced system has already demonstrated its performance in complex Chinese road conditions and has secured over 30 mass-production vehicle design-wins with clients including Chery Automobile and GAC Group.

Intelligent assisted driving is emerging as a critical competitive advantage for Chinese automakers as they expand their global presence. WeRide's international deployment reflects the broader trend of the Chinese automotive industry striving to establish global R&D and engineering proficiency in intelligent driving systems.
