WeSalute hosts 14th annual 'Heroes Meet Heroes' virtual event
WeSalute, a military recognition platform, is hosting its annual 'Heroes Meet Heroes' virtual event on November 5 to commemorate National Veterans and Military Families Month.
The military benefits platform WeSalute will host its 14th annual "Heroes Meet Heroes" event on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The virtual gathering, sponsored by Avis Budget Group, features two live sessions scheduled for 12:00 PM ET and 6:30 PM ET to mark the beginning of National Veterans and Military Families Month.
The event convenes military veterans and professional athletes to discuss the shared experiences of service, resilience, and transitioning to civilian life. Moderators and panelists include U.S. Army combat veteran H. Scott Higgins, Olympic athletes, and retired military leaders, including Brigadier General Loree Sutton and Lieutenant General Martin R. Steele.
Originally held in person at the New York Athletic Club, the event has transitioned to an online format to accommodate the organization’s member base of over 3 million people. The sessions will include audience Q&A and a series of prize giveaways provided by corporate partners such as Delta Air Lines, IMAX, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
WeSalute, formerly known as Veterans Advantage, focuses on providing discounts and recognition programs for the military community. The organization notes that the event serves as a platform to foster discussion on perseverance and life after military service.
