West Pennine Trucks Forms Platinum Partnership with West Mercia Search and Rescue
West Pennine Trucks has extended its platinum partnership with West Mercia Search and Rescue. The truck dealer provides fleet servicing and annual funding to the volunteer rescue organization.

West Pennine Trucks, a Scania dealership, has solidified its "platinum partnership" with West Mercia Search and Rescue. Under the agreement, West Pennine Trucks services the entire fleet of the volunteer rescue organisation at its Telford depot.
As part of the ongoing collaboration, the dealership also provides annual funding and conducts fundraising activities across its network. West Mercia Search and Rescue is a volunteer-led service that responds to emergencies and supports statutory services in Shropshire, an area where three West Pennine Trucks depots are located.
The partnership aims to strengthen the bond between the company's depots and the communities they serve, while helping to ensure the continuity of an essential service. The collaboration is stated to be built on shared values of commitment, readiness, and a focus on people.
Richard Gilliland, Managing Director at West Pennine Trucks, commented on the honour of supporting the organisation and its volunteers. He expressed pride in standing behind individuals who dedicate their time and expertise to assisting others and indicated plans to continue supporting West Mercia's outreach programmes and equipment needs in the future.
