West Tennessee Bank Breaks Ground on Permanent Germantown Branch

West Tennessee Bank began construction on its new permanent branch in Germantown, Tennessee, on July 7. This development signifies the bank's ongoing expansion into Shelby County.

The bank, a division of Decatur County Bank, has a history dating back to 1899. After entering the Shelby County market in 2022 with a loan production office, it opened a full-service branch in Germantown in 2024. In April 2025, the bank purchased property for its permanent location.

The new facility, located at 7707 Wolf River Circle, is designed with customer convenience in mind. It will feature extra-wide drive-thru lanes, a 24-hour ATM, easily accessible entrances from multiple streets, and executive office space for commercial lending, mortgage lending, and wealth management services.

The bank stated the new branch will serve customers in Germantown, East Memphis, Cordova, Bartlett, and Collierville. The location was selected for its central access to surrounding communities and its proximity to a growing medical and professional district in the area.
