Wheel Expands Infrastructure to Support New Medicare Cardiometabolic Programs
Virtual care infrastructure provider Wheel has launched expanded capabilities to support healthcare organizations participating in Medicare initiatives, including the ACCESS Model and the GLP-1 Bridge.

Austin, Texas – Wheel, a company providing clinical infrastructure for virtual care, has broadened its offerings to help healthcare organizations engage with evolving Medicare programs. The expansion includes support for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) ACCESS Model and immediate operational readiness for the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge.
The move aligns with CMS's push towards technology-enabled, outcomes-based chronic disease management. The ACCESS Model and the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge aim to improve access to care, enhance outcomes, and foster coordinated care for Medicare beneficiaries, particularly those with cardiometabolic conditions.
Through its Wheel Horizon platform, Wheel enables healthcare organizations to launch complex care pathways without building out their own clinical operations. The platform supports eligibility, pharmacy coordination, prior authorization, and payment adjudication. Wheel Clinic will also enhance its Medicare capabilities from July 15, 2026, offering weight management treatments via the GLP-1 Bridge for eligible Medicare beneficiaries.
"Our customers are not investing in infrastructure for a single Medicare initiative, but for the capabilities they will need for today's cardiometabolic care and where healthcare is going next," said Michelle Davey, CEO of Wheel. "Clinical infrastructure that combines tech, data, and care delivery is just not optional anymore for sustainable success at scale."
