Whizzo in Talks to Raise Approximately $26 Million
Bengaluru-based Whizzo, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in the textile sector, is reportedly in discussions to raise around $26 million in its Series B funding round.

Bengaluru-based Whizzo is reportedly in discussions to raise approximately $26 million in a Series B funding round. The round is expected to be co-led by investors Aavishkaar Capital and Bertelsmann Investments.
Existing backers such as Fundamentum and Lightspeed Ventures are also likely to participate in the funding round, according to sources. The company did not respond to requests for comment.
The potential fundraising follows a Series A round approximately six months ago, where Whizzo secured around $15 million. At that time, the company stated the funds would be used to strengthen research and development for material science innovation.
Founded in 2024, Whizzo operates as a CDMO, providing textile design and R&D services. The company integrates research, development, prototyping, and commercial-scale manufacturing, focusing on advanced materials and sustainability for applications in sectors including geotextiles, agricultural textiles, and protective materials.
