Wichita Falls school district partners with CivicPlus to digitize public records
Wichita Falls Independent School District is deploying CivicPlus software to improve the accessibility and management of thousands of public PDF documents.
Wichita Falls Independent School District has entered into a partnership with CivicPlus to overhaul the digital accessibility of its public documentation. The initiative involves the automated conversion of approximately 30,000 existing PDF files into accessible formats.
By implementing the DocAccess platform, the district aims to ensure compliance with digital accessibility standards while enhancing transparency. The system provides tools for multilingual access, allowing a broader segment of the community to engage with district information effectively.
Beyond improving public access, the integration is designed to reduce the administrative workload on school district staff. By automating document remediation, the district intends to reallocate resources previously dedicated to manual data processing toward other institutional priorities.
