Wirtek Oyj's board of directors has approved the company's interim report for the second quarter of 2026. The report indicates a significant improvement in profitability compared to the previous year. EBITDA rose to EUR 1.26 million (TDKK 1,261) from EUR 270 thousand (TDKK 270) a year prior. The EBITDA margin reached 8.3 percent, a notable increase from 1.7 percent in the same period last year and 3.9 percent in the first quarter of 2026.
The company's result before tax turned positive for both the quarter and the first half of the year. Revenue remained stable at EUR 15.13 million (TDKK 15,134). This marks the second full quarter that the acquired SaaS business, in line with Wirtek's new strategy, has been integrated into the company's operations.
CEO Michael Aaen commented on the results, stating that Wirtek delivered a strong second quarter and highlighted the positive pre-tax result as evidence of the company's strengthening financial position.
