Wispr Flow Secures Investment from Peak XV Partners, Together Fund

US-based voice AI company Wispr Flow has announced new investments from prominent venture capital firms Peak XV Partners and Together Fund. These firms participated in the startup's Series B funding round.

The Series B round raised $280 million, propelling Wispr Flow's valuation to $2 billion. The round was led by US-based Menlo Ventures, with participation from existing and new investors including Notable Capital, NEA, and others.

Founded in 2021 by Tanay Kothari and Sahaj Garg, Wispr Flow develops AI-powered speech-to-text software. The company has recently partnered with hardware manufacturers and is expanding into workplace applications. Wispr Flow also introduced its proprietary speech-to-text model, Canto, designed to improve accuracy in noisy environments.

Peak XV Partners continues to expand its portfolio of AI startups targeting the US market, while Together Fund has broadened its investment strategy to include growth-stage companies, aiming to gain insights into the scaling of voice AI platforms from consumer to enterprise levels.
