The $700 million, 324,000-square-foot facility represents a significant expansion of Wistron's global manufacturing capabilities.
The opening ceremony was attended by Wistron Chairman Simon Lin and NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang, underscoring the collaborative effort. The event highlighted Wistron's move to strengthen domestic production capacity for critical AI infrastructure components.
This Fort Worth facility will serve as a key hub for producing NVIDIA's GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip in the United States. The plant utilizes NVIDIA's accelerated computing and digital twin technology to optimize its design and production workflows, aiming for enhanced operational efficiency.
Wistron stated the new facility is a vital part of its global AI infrastructure manufacturing network and aims to bolster the resilience of the U.S. AI supply chain. It provides domestic capacity for assembling and testing NVIDIA's AI systems, crucial for powering next-generation AI computing.
