Wistron Corporation has opened its first advanced electronics manufacturing facility in the United States, located in Fort Worth, Texas. Construction and engineering firm Gray was responsible for the design and build of the 350,000-square-foot facility.
The new facility includes a 160,000-square-foot ISO-8 cleanroom, a data center, a specialized packaging area, and corporate office suites. The facility's location within a logistics and industrial hub in North Fort Worth is intended to support the domestic semiconductor supply chain and Wistron's market growth.
The project was completed utilizing Gray's integrated design, engineering, and self-perform construction services, with the facility being delivered in nine months. The site is projected to create over 600 full-time jobs.
The opening of this facility enhances domestic production capabilities for supercomputing technologies, aimed at serving the U.S. market and strengthening supply chains.
