Wix.com Ltd. Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Alleged Misleading Statements

Robbins LLP, a law firm, has filed a class action lawsuit against Wix.com Ltd. (NASDAQ: WIX) on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired its securities between February 19, 2025, and May 12, 2026. Investors who incurred significant losses during this period are reminded that they must seek appointment as lead plaintiff by September 22, 2026.

The complaint alleges that Wix.com made materially false or misleading statements regarding its business, operations, and prospects during the class period. Specifically, the lawsuit claims defendants overstated the competitiveness and performance of Wix's AI product offerings, understated the costs associated with developing and promoting these offerings, and consequently overstated their commercial and financial benefits. These alleged misrepresentations led to the company's public statements being materially false and misleading.

Several events prompted stock price declines during the class period. On May 21, 2025, Wix's stock fell 16.18% after reporting first-quarter 2025 financial results and revenue guidance below analyst expectations. On November 19, 2025, the stock dropped 19.87% following a report on rising post-acquisition costs negatively impacting financial results. Throughout 2026, downward pressure continued with analyst downgrades from institutions like JPMorgan and UBS, and on May 13, 2026, following the announcement of Q1 2026 earnings below consensus and a sharp decline in operating margins, Wix's stock price fell an additional 27.1%.

The lawsuit aims to represent investors who purchased Wix.com Ltd. securities within the specified timeframe. The lead plaintiff, appointed by the court, represents the interests of all class members. Investors do not need to actively join the lawsuit to be eligible for potential recovery if the case is resolved successfully; they may remain as absent class members. However, the deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff is September 22, 2026.
