Wix.com Ltd. Faces Securities Fraud Lawsuit
Wix.com Ltd. is facing a class-action lawsuit alleging misrepresentations about its AI product offerings and financial performance. Investors who experienced substantial losses have until September 23, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff.

San Diego, Calif. โ July 27, 2026 โ Wix.com Ltd. is the subject of a class-action lawsuit filed in the United States. The suit alleges that the company and certain of its executives made false and misleading statements concerning the competitiveness, development costs, and financial benefits of its artificial intelligence product offerings. The class period for the lawsuit spans from February 19, 2025, to May 12, 2026.
Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP announced that purchasers or acquirers of Wix.com securities during this period who suffered substantial losses have until September 23, 2026, to apply for appointment as lead plaintiff. The lawsuit claims the company overstated the performance of its AI offerings and understated the associated costs and overstated the commercial and financial benefits.
The allegations stem from several events that impacted Wix's stock price. In May 2025, after Wix affirmed its 2025 revenue guidance, which fell short of analyst expectations, the stock price dropped over 16%. Further, in November 2025, increased post-acquisition costs related to Base44 negatively impacted financial results, leading to a nearly 20% stock decline.
In early 2026, multiple financial analysts downgraded Wix. JPMorgan issued an 'Underweight' rating in March, citing decelerating core business revenue growth and concerns about margin improvement. UBS followed in April with a 'Neutral' rating, questioning the company's growth algorithm and margin profile. Most significantly, in May 2026, Wix reported first-quarter earnings and revenue below consensus, with a sharp decline in operating margins attributed partly to competition from other AI tools and deficiencies in its own Harmony platform. This news resulted in a stock price drop of more than 27%.
