Wolfbox tests off-road visibility with Blockout Challenge at Trail Hero
Wolfbox is debuting its Blockout Challenge at the Trail Hero 2026 event in Utah. Drivers will navigate a closed obstacle course relying solely on the Wolfbox FlexPilot camera system.

Wolfbox is introducing its Blockout Challenge at the 11th Annual Monster Energy Trail Hero Event, held from September 28 to October 3 in Hurricane, Utah. During the challenge, drivers will tackle a closed obstacle course with all exterior views blocked, relying solely on the Wolfbox FlexPilot camera system to navigate the terrain.
The event serves as a showcase for Wolfbox's latest automotive electronics, including the FlexPilot mirror dash cam and the NomadPixel 5 lighting system. FlexPilot replaces a vehicle's rearview mirror with a touchscreen fed by up to four cameras, offering sharp 4K views front and rear, plus additional cameras for multi-angle visibility of terrain and obstacles around the vehicle.
Wolfbox is also sponsoring two Sand Hollow trails: the Wolfbox Top of the World Trail and the Wolfbox The Fallen Trail. The NomadPixel 5, marketed as the world's first programmable off-road pixel lighting system, will be featured during a "Night Ride" on the Top of the World trail.
The event also includes opportunities for driver and public participation. Qualifying rounds for the Blockout Challenge will take place October 1-2, with the final on October 3. Wolfbox will also have product display booths at the Washington County Fairgrounds and the Water Tank parking area.
